LounVal Posted May 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2009 We will be sailing January for the first time on FOS and also for the first time sailing we are considering a balcony room at the tail of the ship. Any advise as to; are the the corner rooms better than the rooms in the middle; is deck ten better than deck nine. Thanks:D
RoofingPrincess Posted May 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2009 Corner afts generally have larger balconies than the rest of the afts.
golf43 Posted May 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2009 We are going on FOS in June. We chose a Junior suite on deck 9. I looked at deck 10 too but decided to be on a deck that has rooms above us and below us.
cb at sea Posted May 4, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2009 We LOVE deck 10 cabins---only one flight of stairs to the pool (that's where I spend most of my time!!!) The fewer decks you have between your cabin and where you'll "hang out" the most, the less you'll have to wait for elevators. If you're booked too low, you'll spend a ton of time waiting for elevators, since 5-6 flights of stairs simply isn't fun! There's no noise on deck 10--at least, no more than anywhere else!
