Best Time For Northern European Capitals?

Personally I would go in June. The days are getting shorter in August.

That makes sense...I guess my worry was in June it would be cooler and there would be more children on board as late August they'd be in school.

Thanks,

Som

Depending which kids you mean, most British kids break up for summer holiday middle of July and go back at the end of the first week in September.

I was thinking of the North American School breaks...but thanks for letting me know the British School break...I guess it'll be early to mid-June!

We'd like to take a Cruise to the Northern European Capitals and I'd like to know if it's better in early June/late June or late August?

Thanks,

Som

I have lived in Oslo for 40 years and have never experienced a hot and humid August. Nevertheless, I would also go around Midsummer because of the light. None of the Scandinavian capitals experience Midnight Sun, but around Midsummer there will be daylight 24 hours a day, may be except Copenhagen.

Good luck!
