ROZO'SBEAU Posted December 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2004 We have booked with Oscar at Puerto Limon on 26 December. His tour that day will be the Tortuguero Canals and a city and environs tour. Sounds great from what others on this Board have been saying. He said he has more room that day, so if you want to contact him try: cbrown@costarricense.cr This appears to be a much better deal than offered by the shipboard brochure. ROZO'SBEAU Posted January 8, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted January 8, 2005 We went on the Oscar tour with his nephew, Ryan...two of us...private car. He found for us some VERY noisy monkeys in trees...a sloth (I held sloth...sloth held me), small monkey (monkey held my wife), toucans, parrots, crabs, turtles, canal shrimp...the banana plantation (fascinating), scenic drive, river/canal boat tour, stopped for coffee at the supermarket (Britt coffee at a better price than the shipboard package deal). All in all a great experience....lots of great pictures waiting to be developed. At $45 per, a spectacular bargain. My recommendation: get in touch with Oscar!!!!
