air nui flight on May 16th

Air Nui flight 0001 from LA to Papeete was cancelled with no notice even though it was sold out. The only possible option is an 11:10 flight arriving after the ship leaves. Regent is not able taking responsibility even though we booked travel deviation with them. Anyone have any advise? We offered to go at an earlier date and they said we would have to pay to change it.

This makes no sense at all. If the flight you were on was cancelled and you booked it through Regent, you should be able to book an earlier flight to get you there in time for the cruise with no penalty or extra charge to you. This is their responsibility, not yours. You didn't cancell the flight, the airline did. Have you been talking to the airline or to Regent or both?

We were on the same flight - We had booked our air through Regent and they now have us on the 11 p.m. Air Tahiti Nui flight on Friday arriving at 4:30 a.m. on Sat...so we actually get a little extra time on our vacation in Tahiti with this change in plans
