audraz2 Posted May 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2009 I don't know if this is where I should post but... My son drinks 2 Pediasures a night (he has weight and growth issues). So I will have to pack them. I usually get a 24 pack from Sam's. I was thinking about keeping them in its original box and cutting it in half, which is about 9x5x8 and about 2 lbs. Should I put that into the bag I have his sippies and diapers or should I just put a luggage tag on it?
cb at sea Posted May 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Whichever way works best for you... if you do put a luggage tag on the box, make sure it's sealed well---you don't want the box to rip and not have all of the cans to make it to your room! There's no limit on how many items you may bring onto the ship!
aflynn3 Posted May 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2009 I would check the box with the cruise line, not with the airline. It seems like it would be a waste of money to pay for just that on an airplane. If you are able to purchase the pediasures when you get to the port area, I would do that. Then yes, just put on a luggage sticker to have it delivered to your room.
audraz2 Posted May 13, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Thanks for all the advice. I dont have to fly. I live in south florida. I have a bag that it fits into with other baby items. Bottles, liners, diapers, wipes, etc. Not too heavy.
aflynn3 Posted May 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Lucky duck, not having to worry about the luggage at the airline end of the trip! Don't worry about the cruise you can give them as much as you want. The only problem is fitting it all into your cabin!:D When you get to your cabin, be sure to ask your room steward to empty your frig, this will give you lots of room to chill the pediasure.
