Carnival Freedom - Which side faces docks/good view? + best cabin choice w/'teens'

Hi,

 

Wondering whether anyone who has been on the 8-day cruise on the Freedom can tell me whether the port or starboard side faces the docks when the ship is in ports. The ports are Puerto Rico, St Thomas, Antigua, Tortola & Nassau.

 

Which side of the ship has best views/is best for a balcony cabin?

 

P.S. Any recommendations for best room option for two adults with a 16 and a 20 year old. (Adjoining cabins, some sort of family cabin or suite....?) Is there anyone who has done this and would tell me what worked or what didn't?
