aggieastrosfan Posted October 22, 2009 #26 Share Posted October 22, 2009 You say it take a couple of days to show up. I'm 10 days out from the cruise, do you suggest doing this, or not? There's a cutoff of when you can order things for your cruise. It's either 10 or 14 days, I believe. I wouldn't chance it.
*Mach* Posted October 22, 2009 #27 Share Posted October 22, 2009 Call 800-906-7603 at least 14 days before your cruise. Tell them that you DO NOT want the FunShip Dollars sent to you, you want them applied as OBC and you need a confirmation email... Have a great cruise!!! :)
quickrate Posted October 22, 2009 #28 Share Posted October 22, 2009 I DID see a number that we could call. Now I just have to find it again. Michele, Good to see you on the board! I just go to funship dollars online, put in amount I want to buy, where it ask for address on first line I write onboard credit, on second line I write my booking #. Just funded my account last week. You will immediately get a confirmation e-mail which I print out for proof onboard in case of any errors. I have done this many times and never had any problems. Good luck, Pat

Zamboni413 Posted October 22, 2009 #30 Share Posted October 22, 2009 You say it take a couple of days to show up. I'm 10 days out from the cruise, do you suggest doing this, or not? I am sailing on the 8th of November. When I got the last confirmation email from Carnival I emailed back and asked the cut off. The reply for me was the 23rd of October. That would be 16 days. I am not sure how the weekends work into it though.
newlife_2010 Posted October 22, 2009 #31 Share Posted October 22, 2009 I do not want to use Credit Cards either. I am being financially conscious on my 1st cruise- I do not want to go over $200 for the week. I am hoping to prepay all my excursions so the only charges to my S&S account will be the Supper Club and incidentals.
