Washing clothes onboard?

I heard that Carnival has washing machines,dryers and ironing places for guest to use? Is that true and if so what does it cost? Need to know about ships Destiny and Imagination.

Freedom has laundries. Irons are free, Washing machine was 2.50 and dryers were 1.50

All ships have laundry facilities that include an ironing station You can purchase deterent and fabric softener or you can bring your own (which is easy to do in pre-measured ziploc bags). You will find one on most guest floors with a few exceptions (on the older ships). Get quarters from the information desk or the casino.

I did laundry on the Freedom last week. $2 to wash and $2 to dry. I was impressed with how much fit into one load:) The iron works great, just twist the timer up above on the wall to turn the power on. The laundry facility was a life saver, I never guessed we'd change clothes several times a day and how dang messy/wet my kids would get.

I love that there is a laundry room on the carnival ship... I usually do my laundry on the last day of the cruise.. On ncl they didnt have one and when I got home and got done with all the laundry from the cruise I needed another vacation... I had laundry for 5...
