elizabeth0608 Posted May 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2009 We booked the Liberty of the Seas for the last week of August. Does anybody know how to get them to put a mini-fridge in our stateroom. They keep telling me that they can only do it for medical reasons, however in our first cruise on the Navigator we had a mini-fridge without even requesting it. If anybody knows, please help!!!! BaumD Posted May 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2009 All cabins will have a mini cooler. Only cools down to the mid 40's whereas a real refrigerator cools to about 36 degrees.
32highboy Posted May 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2009 Tell them you need to keep your insulin in it!
elizabeth0608 Posted May 18, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted May 18, 2009 Thank you for your reponse. My fiancee actually told me the same thing about the insulin!! How funny!!! I guess I will. It is weird because when I call to RCC they told me that the cabins only have a dry mini bar. I guess some of their representatives are losts sometimes. But thank you very much for your answers. As Liberty is far newer than Navigator I would expect her to have fridges in. If not then they definitely have the 'cooler'.
cb at sea Posted May 18, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2009 The "fridges" are the "dorm cube" style things---you can turn the temp down, and they will keep chilled things chilled. If there is a cabinet door in front of the fridge door, keeping it cracked so air can circulate will help the fridge get colder.
