Hi guys,

Just wondering how soon before your cruise do Royal Carribean send out a welcome pack. Do these include excursion ideas or what is in them??

Probably a stupid question but Im a newbie!!!! :)

They really don't send much by mail anymore. You can check the available excursions online, and either book then, or wait until you get on the ship.

If you opted to have them send your docs by "snail mail", then there will be virtually the same info in there that's in the cruise brochure, along with excursions available for your cruise.

Hi Jen,

Here in the Uk we had our Guide about 1 month before we go. (A bit late as we'd already booked our excursions online about 2 months ago).

We got our pack from the TA with the tickets etc. in this Monday just gone , abuout 2 weeks before cruise date.

Did you elect to receive hard-copy documents? If you booked with Royal Caribbean directly, they will send you electronic documents. If you booked with a Travel Agent, ask them which you will be sent.

If you are getting hard copy documents you'll receive them two to four weeks before your sailing date. They really are fun to receive - especially for the first cruise! Normally they include the details of your cabin, info on the ship, how to get to the port, and listings of all of the excursions.

If you are getting electronic documents then you can go online through Royal Caribbean's website and access all of that through "Manage Your Reservation".

Hope you have a wonderful first cruise!
