speedster Posted May 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2009 We'll be on the Carnival Legend in early July with a 1.5 year old, and wanted to know if everyone has to wait in line when you're getting on/off the ship, or is there a different line if you have a stroller? My son is typically well-behaved, but you never know when he decides to throw a fit... Is it like when you're getting on a plane, and they ask for anyone with kids or requiring more time to get on first?
cb at sea Posted May 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2009 The lines move fairly quickly---I've never seen a "special" line for folks with kids....I mean, everyone arrives at a different time...it's not really like an airplane where everyone is boarding at the same time. lisascott207 Posted May 22, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2009 We just cruised w/our 15Mo son on RCCL. The crew was wonderful and let us bypass the line as soon as they spotted us w a stroller and all of our baby gear. I would think that if the lines are long, you will be able bypass, and I wouldn't hesisitate to ask an attendant to do so if they don't offer to bring you up front. It was a long day of travel for our baby and he was uncharacterically tired and cranky. I cringed when I saw the long lines, but was delighted when we were able to bypass! I am sure some of the other passangers were not thrilled, but oh well. I am not going to lie, cruising wasn't easy at this age, but the crew was so wonderful and made everything as easy as possible for us. I hope you have a great experience and speak up if you dont!
