Golden Princess to Alaska - June 20th - cabin question

I also posted this in the cabin forum - need to book by 5pm and am hoping someone sees this!

I am traveling with my parents, who are older, on the June 20th sailing from Seattle to Alaska.

I can get an obstructed ocean view on Deck 8 (the Emerald Deck) in category HH (cabin E210). I am concerned b/c the cabins they have for us to be assigned are above the Princess Theater. Does anyone know if it is a lot of noise? It is also pretty close to the front of the ship.

I could (for the same price) do a guarantee room -- but then my parents and my cabin wouldn't be next to each other, and I like the idea of being close to them! And I suppose it could be worse than the HH.

I would appreciate any advice! I am new to cruising and cruisecritic!

thanks so much!

Thanks for reporting back!

So often I look up a question on the Search function and it has been asked and answered before but the OP never reports back at the end of the cruise so I can't tell if the answers were correct or not.
