Apartments in Barcelona??

Recommended Posts

We are flying into Barcelona the day before our cruise and need to find accommodation for that 1 night.

We are travelling as a large group - 9 adults and 1 child so were thinking about an apartment rather than hotel to reduce costs.

Can anyone recommend any apartments which are central to Las Ramblas and not too far from the port.

Our TA can only offer us Parque Ciutadella Apartments which dont have very good reviews...

Any help much appreciated!!

We stayed at Apartments Marina for a night pre-cruise in Barcelona. This is located about a block from Sagrada Familia, so not exactly on Ramblas but that really is a benefit. We were not that impressed with Las Ramblas and really enjoyed the Eixample neighborhood. Taxi to the port from the apt. was pretty reasonable, I think it was 15 euros for 4 including luggage. This was 2 years ago.

We loved having the extra room with 2 teens and the price was much less than 2 hotel rooms too! The apts weren't posh by any means, but clean, quiet. air-conditioned and comfortable.
