Flights to San Juan

Recommended Posts

I booked a cruise in February 2009 for April 11 on the Serenade and Air Canada was having a seat sale where my wife paid only the taxes , so we went direct to San Juan for 1000.00 for the both of us. I dont know if you want to wait until 2010 to book your flight , but worth mentioning. Also check for price drops on the cruise. I got 780.00 back around the end of march. Air Canada was the only direct flight from Toronto , and i am picky about tranfers ,as i fly on the same day as the cruise. April is a pretty safe month for weather, but you never know.

I booked the airfare for my November 2009 cruise back in January, during the first week the bookings opened up. I followed the prices online so when I saw that I could book the two of us for $1070 Cdn I jumped on it. Since then the prices have only increased.

When we cruised out of San Juan two years ago we paid $1800 for two tickets  After we booked the prices did drop, so in that situation we would have been better off waiting.

I agree with Ocean Boy - keep checking availability and use that as your guide.
