Getting totally Giddy now - into single figures - I can smell the sea air - glass of bubbly in hand - what a wonderful exciting feeling!! :D:D

Single digits! That is a great feeling. I'll be there soon too!!! I started packing this weekend. I am trying to avoid the last minute panic, but I'm afraid all I am doing is stretching out the stress.

My pattern:

I get very excited just before and after booking. Definitely giddy. The week before I will be very up and excited and packing. That is another GIDDY phase! The night before I am a wreck. I feel awful, knots in stomach, worrying about what I forgot to pack, worrying about timing, feeling it will never happen and wondering why I EVER go on vacation and swearing I never will again. (I know, I am just a tad moody.) *NOOOOO...It's right in the man's NAME*

The morning of, I let all that worrying go and have a wonderful time no matter what. DEFINITELY GIDDY!!!

My Lee and I book a cruise. I get giddy. My Lee denies the actual booking of the cruise until she is sipping the champagne they give you when you step aboard. Our main worry is the care and comfort of our two feline masters. Once that is solved, packing and preparing is a minor ordeal, but all the while giddy... Cruising WOOO WOOO

And I Thank You:

JWK: Gleeful, Glad, and yes, Giddy

Just a few Days until the Star baby!

Having booked several of my cruises over a 1 year in advance, one would expect I'd have hills & valleys of Giddy-ness. But I have stereotypes to uphold (woot) and so I maintain a general level of giddiness from booking until shortly after all of my acquaintances hate me for having made them see vacation photos....again.

Some of my giddiness even pervades my postings and is occasionally mistaken for aloofness, sarcasm and disdain. This should not be confused with others of my postings where I am exhibiting disdain, aloofness and sarcasm....on purpose

3 weeks to go until the next cruise, and I'm in that lull generated by sheer over-whelmedness at all of the things I need to complete before vacation... *sigh*.

Still, I expect I'll enjoy a few games of "Find the Hamrag" once onboard. This is a poster who joined our Roll Call, told everyone on the private tours that they were morons and being ripped off, and then advised that he won't be attending the Meet & Greet because he apparently disagreed with something I posted.

I won't quite get to stalker-status (too busy in the casino)...but I pity all of the poor Scots on this cruise, as I try to identify the now-ellusive Hamrag. :D

AHHHHHH the Giddy thread!:D I know posted on here somewhere already but since my cruise is getting closer I am at the slightly stressed level and I should have started my diet earlier level and I need someone to watch the dogs level. Once I get all this in check, I will be Giiddier then he!!:D Probably 2 days before sailing when I start to pack.

I've been at a monderate level of giddy since we booked about a month or so ago.....I seem to be more giddy when trying to distract myself from work by reading through these boards!

It's def too early for true ape-poo giddy - but I see that coming sometime around Jan.
