Salmon Bake at Pioneer Park

Is is necessary to make reservations for the Salmon Bake & Palace Theater at Pioneer Park, or can you just walk up at the last minute. How quick do the shuttles come when called, or does this need to be arranged ahead of time also.

You don't need to reserve ahead, and the shuttles are on a more-or-less set route - call for pickup, but your hotel will be able to tell you when the pickup will be.

We went to this last year and really enjoyed it-the salmon and halibut were excellent. It is a buffet-go early! And walk around Pioneer Park afterwards-there are some interesting displays of early life and some cute cabins and shops.
