Soft drinks at meal time? Water?

Recommended Posts

I know there is a soda package - but if you only want a drink with lunch or dinner do you have to pay? If you do are refills free?

Also - water - is it filtered or bottled? Just wondering if I'll be able to take any ashore.

Hi,

You can have tea, coffee, water and lemonade they are included in the holiday price.

Unless you have a soda package you have to pay for the sodas as they are sold then by the can.

The water is all filtered by the ship and is fine to drink. (From what I have read on other threads it is actually purer than bottled).

You can purchase soda by the can if you don't do a drink package. It is about $2.25 (including the gratuity) per can. No free refills.

The ship's tap water is as pure as most bottled waters. You can purchase bottled water on the ship, but it is a bit pricey. Some people bring a couple bottled waters and refill them with the ship's tap water. The only problem with the tap water is it doesn't come out of the tap too cold, so it is good to add ice to it.

The soda package is only worth it if you plan to drink more than three sodas per day.

Just to add to Gonzo's post.

If you want iced cold water in your bottles you can get it from the dispenser in Windjammer BUT you have to pour it first into a ship's cup or glass then into your bottle.

They don't want the top of the bottle coming into contact with the dispenser for hygene reasons.
