pools on CB?

Hi,

Two questions:

Are any of the pools on CB heated?

How late are they open at night?

Good questions, also are they fresh-water?

The pool hours are 6:00 AM to Midnight except for the Calypso Pool which is 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM. See page 3 of Welcome Aboard from our cruise on the CB last week for rules. All pools are fresh water. Maybe someone else can tell you if they are heated, we only ue the hot tubs which by defination are heated.

As a rule I don't believe any of the pools are heated. However, on one of my Caribbean Princess cruises they emptied the Lotus pool because of rough seas and when they refilled it the next day the water was warm, probably 85 degrees! We couldn't believe it. I'll bet there were at least 30 people in the pool at one time that day. It was very nice.

One item not mentioned in detail a lot is..

 

Most water both Drinking and bathing which is also used in the Fresh Water Pools is DeSalinated from the Sea Water taken in from the Oceans.

 

So if you have a low Salt need BE CAREFUL as that Water is VERY Very high in Sodium Content.
