Rare crewsweeper Posted May 31, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2009 From the May17th-24th 2009 Western Caribbean Cruise. These are incomplete as the dessert menus are missing (never got). However, I will post pics of the dessert we ate if they were special each day (not all)! Apologies in advance for the poor scan quality. First Night Special Desserts: Creme Burlee. Warm Chocolate Melting Cake( always special that first night:) Second Night Special Dessert: We stuck with Legend Classics.

lindseesmom Posted June 1, 2009 #10 Share Posted June 1, 2009 I am guessing that the menu stays the same for each cruise. It sounds so yummy!!
Toni12345 Posted June 1, 2009 #11 Share Posted June 1, 2009 Does carnival serve the same menu on all their cruises? I was on the Glory and am going on the Legend. The menu looks the same from what I can remember.

Rare crewsweeper Posted June 1, 2009 Author #13 Share Posted June 1, 2009 Thanks! going on the Legend in 7 weeks! What nights were the dining room entertainment? The 2 sea days? Two formal nights...but every night "It's shoooowwwtime!" Just as dessert is being served.
stlrboo Posted June 1, 2009 #14 Share Posted June 1, 2009 In your opinion, if you were going to do the Supper Club, which nite/nites were the least WONDERFUL in the Main dining room!?? I realize everyone has a different opinion, but I'm 'fishing'... We are already booked at the Supper Club on Grand Cayman evening, and am thinking one other night may be booked prior to sailing! I love the Porterhouse, but I'd like to try the Surf & Turf as well, so may go twice...:) Any help in making this decision easier, would be appreciated.. :D

IMO...Either night 3 or 4. Night 3 (GC on the Legend) has salmon which I like but it's also served another night, albeit a slightly different version. Night 4 (usually Cozumel) has a great center cut pork chop, but the Golden Fleece is suppose to have excellent food.
avonc Posted June 1, 2009 #16 Share Posted June 1, 2009 On shorter curises, say 4 days, would one expect to see the first 4 menus, or would they be a combination of the items.

That's a nice set. Good comparison for what may have changed, like the sundried tomato soup for the asparagus soup on night one. I would assume that night's 2 and 6 would be the variable nights for sorter cruises since they are the formal dinners. So one or the other but not both on a shorter cruise. Cygneagile Posted October 15, 2010 #21 Share Posted October 15, 2010 Those deserts are to die for. Well, I guess my walking shoes will have to do double courses. I am not a desert person, but man oh man, they all look so good. I have found the menus when I logged Manage my Cruise. Looks like we are going to eat our way around the Caribbean. Name Of The Game Posted October 15, 2010 #22 Share Posted October 15, 2010 OTHER THAN CHOCOLATE MELTING CAKE AND BITTER & BLANC, what else is a delicious dessert in the dining room? How is the black forest cake, cheesecake, and tiramisu?
