GAMOM4 Posted June 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2009 I am so glad that I was booked under the Early Saver and my rate went down so many times -it started at $394.00 it finally ended up being $279.00 per person for an oceanview room 6B and we have 2 rooms. The price had started climbing up over the weekend - just then I noticed that it is back to $374.00 a person. This is for the 4 night out of Tampa on the Inspiration. The 5 nights don't seem to have changed much either way (I sure wish I had booked the 5 night). Just thought I would let everyone know that the price is changing - just not for the better! firefly333 Posted June 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2009 If Carnival adds a fuel surcharge, that could make prices go back down. Those who are not past final payment and not early saver, might have some cancellations. I would have if I werent early saver and they would keep my deposit if I knew they were for sure adding $9 pp per day, but right now the indecision will have some waiting to book imo. I'm sure not going to let $63 (for a 7 day) prevent me from enjoying my well-deserved vacation! ;)
quickrate Posted June 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2009 Shelley, I'm with you! If $63.00 per person stands between me and a cruise then I figure I probably shouldn't have booked that cruise in the first place. Pat
