Breakfast / Lunch on the Voyager?

What are the options? is the main dining room open for these meals? I was just looking at Voyager-Class. com and saw that the Island Grill was another restaurant other than the windjammer... is this a menu restaurant if so what do they serve??? Please feel free to add your own comments about questions I didnt know to ask... =)

island grill is part of the WJ....nothing different.

 

the MDR is open for breakfast daily.....about 8-10 or so. nice! as for lunch, IIRC it is only on sea days. LOTS of food....very filling.

 

for breakfast there are the basics, french toast, pancakes, eggs, etc.....

 

lunch there is a salad bar i believe, and a few big entrees, and some sandwiches.....different than the WJ.

 

Breakfast is basically the same (as there isn't a HUGE amount of different breakfast foods...)

 

they usually have a nice carved ham in the WJ, eggs to order, omletes to order, cereals, patry, toast, some meats and cheese, the usual.

 

it gets VERY crowded early on port days....and around 9 AM on sea days....

 

the WJ opens for early bird breakfast about 6:30 or 7AM and then the hot stuff comes out later, maybe 7:30 or so.....
