Pre cruise at the Hampton Inn downtown French Quarter

I was wondering if you had any information on the Hampton Inn on Carondolet in the French Quarter. We have a reservation there pre cruise in May.

 

Any information would be appreciated.

The reviews here look good. I haven't stayed there, but it looks very nice from the outside. It is in the 200 block of Carondelet Street. That isn't in the French Quarter, but it's only about three blocks away.

[Budget Queen]

This is a good location, walkable without limitations to most everywhere in the Quarter. Fairly "busy" at night which is also a plus. If really "cheap" like me. :) This location is excellent for the cheap airport bus $1.60 each way. BUT you can't have any mobility limitations and need a good rolling bag having packed light. But I do it all the time. Just got back from a week in NO. :)

Thank you Budget Queen. Actually we are driving to NOLA so we don't have to worry about the bus. We will be parking at the Cruise terminal the day of the cruise.
