Pre cruise at the Hampton Inn downtown French Quarter

The reviews here look good. I haven't stayed there, but it looks very nice from the outside. It is in the 200 block of Carondelet Street. That isn't in the French Quarter, but it's only about three blocks away.

This is a good location, walkable without limitations to most everywhere in the Quarter. Fairly "busy" at night which is also a plus. If really "cheap" like me. :) This location is excellent for the cheap airport bus $1.60 each way. BUT you can't have any mobility limitations and need a good rolling bag having packed light. But I do it all the time. Just got back from a week in NO. :)
