Shops onboard...?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me what kind of shops are on board Sapphire Princess? Is there a "general store" for forgotten items? Clothing? Other kinds...?

Thanks! 5 DAYS!! :-)

Yes, there is a clothing/knick-knack/souvenir store, fragrance shop, jewelry store, liquor/cigarette store that I believe is in with the "general" store.

They carry a very small selection of things you might have forgotten. Things like OTC meds, toothpaste, razors and such come in very tiny amounts, and compared to what you might pay at home, they are very expensive. The selection is quite limited, so we always try to remember everything we might need.

Depanding on exactly what you might have forgotten, I'd make a note and wait until your next port day to buy it ashore.

We are long time Princess cruisers. Ships do not carry very much anymore in the way of things you may have forgotten. Clothing is mostly logo items and over priced.

Well, there is usually a wall of items that may have been forgotten; toothbrushes, aspirin, sunscreen, Q-tips, etc. And yeah, they can be overpriced, but if you need something right away, it's the only place you'll find it at sea. :p

And tulips, since this is your first cruise, they will also have various sales in the Atrium where you can get t-shirts, hats, jewelry and watches at better prices. Watch for sales in the Calypso Cove, sometimes you'll find great buys. And don't forget the sale in one of the dining rooms on the last sea day. Mostly it's stuff from the previous season (probably a lot of Mexican Riviera items on your sailing), but at excellent prices. And there's alot of junk too . Get there early!
