Disney Roll Calls Dead

I'll be on my first Disney cruise in January and have done about 5 others on HAL, RCL, NCL where I joined the very active roll calls and "met" people from all over the world. So much fun.

 

I noticed that the Disney roll calls are very inactive. I started one for my January cruise and have had no response. I also noticed alot of other Disney roll calls with no responses.

 

I was just wondering why Disney is so different from the other cruiselines where people like to meet ahead of time and then have a meet & greet on the ship. Is it because Disney cruisers are mostly families with small children?

I've noticed the same thing. We're doing our first Disney cruise soon. There is another site that is for DCL & Parks.

That's because there are other web sites that are devoted to Disney theme parks and DCL, and they have much more active roll calls. Do a Google search for other Disney discussion forums.

For my cruise, there are 2 responses to the roll call on cruisecritic. On another site, I found a thread with 23 pages.

The Disney board had so much activity for our May 16hth cruise, a second thread had to be started.
