Rare clarky Posted June 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2009 We are looking at a Regent cruise from Vancouver to Beijing. We normally cruise seabourn and love the self service laundry. Does the Navigator have a self service laundry for guests?
Travelcat2 Posted June 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Yes -- Regent has self-service laundry facilities on several decks:)
gfranzen Posted June 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2009 It has them, but be prepared for stiff competition, clothes removed minutes after completing and left in a heap, etc. All in all, it's convenient but can be frustrating. BTW, laundry soap is provided and is an intregal part of the cycle, meaning you can't use your own favorite soap.
Hambagahle Posted June 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Also fierce competition for the one ironing board!! Too bad they don't have two or three like Mariner. However I found that by going to the laundry on another deck I could almost always find a free one...
Stickrod Posted June 15, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2009 I met some interesting and very fun people while taking care of laundry on the Navigator. Funny how conversations can start anywhere... There was one British lady who was ironing her husband's underwear; I hate washing clothes and ironing, let alone ironing underwear. We had a great deal of fun talking.:) When I returned, my dry laundry was neatly folded and stacked, and I returned the favor for the next person.
