The Gulf Freeway (now part of I-45) was begun in 1953, I believe. Can't say that I remember a time from then until now where there wasn't construction somewhere between Houston and Galveston.:p Just allow an extra hour and you should be fine.:D

We are going to be going through probably around 9 or 10 am on Sunday. Or about 6 or 7 PM on Saturday. Is that a good time?
