Need to find a singles cruise sailing in the next two months!

I need help!

A friend of the family has asked me to find him a singles cruise sailing ASAP.

He is under 40, is in the medical field and has never been married. Cost is not an issue. He may sail solo, or may bring a friend.

He is looking for a shorter cruise, hopefully in the Caribbean, but is flexible.

Any recommendations? There seems to be a ton of different sites, but most cruises seem to be later in the year.

Also, any tips? I have heard single women generally cruise 3x more than single men. Is this true? What is the general age range?

Thanks in advance!

You might want to click here http://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=21 for the Cruise Critic article titled Cruise "Welcome Mat" Varies for Solos. Note the section titled Choose a singles' cruise. Also, click here http://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=419 for another Cruise Critic article titled Best Cruise Lines for Solo Travelers. Both may contain information that will help you help your friend of the family.

You may want to go to www.google.com and type in "hosted single cruises". You will find many of the agencies your fellow Cruise Critic members would recommend, give feedback, etc. if they could.

Per the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free membership, the names, web sites, etc. of travel agents/agencies or other cruise-related sites or message boards --- even if "masked" --- are not allowed in Cruise Critic message board posts. Posts asking for the name, site or further information via e-mail, or posts offering same, will be removed as well as any replies to the removed posts. Discussion or promotion of any non-Cruise Critic group cruise is not allowed. Also, "personal ads" for cabin-mates are not allowed in any forum.

I sincerely hope this information will be helpful!

Hi Kat-

Thanks for the heads up!

Sorry if I asked anything inappropriate. Is it possible to be supplied a date and cruise ship w/o the host's name? I am just having a terrible time finding much this time of year- everything is in the fall and winter!

You are most welcome, but I'm so sorry. Hosted single cruises are group cruises. As I said before:

... Discussion or promotion of any non-Cruise Critic group cruise is not allowed...

The only Cruise Critic Group Cruise I know of where singles are involved is the CC Single Parent Cruise "A DREAM worth waiting for" June 19' date=' 2010[/b']. Click here http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=951706.
