There are rumors that the RCCL policy(S?) will change as of 9/1/09. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is, any idead what the changes are?

Only thing changing as of 9/1/09 is that D will not have access to CL.

As of 12/31/08 they placed significant restrictions on what discounts/coupns/OBC's could be combined. I have not heard of any further plans to place additional restrictions. There is not much more they could restrict in this area.

I think that you heard someone confused about two different things, both mentioned here by other posters.

 

1. As of 9/1/09, Diamonds will no longer have access to Concierge Lounges.

 

2. As of 1/1/09, benefits cannot be combined. You must choose ONE of the following to apply to your reservation:

 

C&A coupon

Diamond/Platinum balcony discount

Shareholder OBC

Next Cruise/booked on board OBC
