clothing for Norwegian cruise June 26th

Recommended Posts

Will see you on board in 9 days!

I am not taking a parka. We haven't been to Norway, but we had been to Alaska and northern Canada many times. I take multiple layers. I had a fleece sweater and thicker fleece jacket with a rain jacket that can be worn over both. I am taking both cotton and wool longsleeve turtle necks to wear under these, and a couple of cotton t shirts to wear under as well if needed. I think I am also going to take my silk long johns for a base layer--may not need them but they take hardly any packing room.

Bring gloves for sure.

I was surprised on how much colder Norway was compared to Denmark in March and was happy I brought along a warm coat, gloves and hat. Layers is the best way to go but don't forget gloves.
