Could anyone tell me, how much is it for a taxi to Mahahual?

Taxies are evidently not allowed to pick up customers at the terminal. You can find them in the village to bring you back. We paid $3/person to get to the village and $2/person by taxie to get back to the terminal.

Is the $3 pp bus rate and $2 pp taxi rate also applicable for children? We have a 3 and 5 year old, and I'd like to know how much money to set aside for transportation.

On another thread someone said they had to get a coupon or ticket of some kind in the back of Sov. shops did you and are the souv. shops close to where you get off the boat?

This is my first time I will be doing the excursions on my own instead of thru the cruise liners
