Kayleen Posted December 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2004 I have reserved an aft wrap around balcony cabin on the Pride for next year. The Carnival website says they have 2 TVs with VCRs but I'm wondering if they have been upgraded to DVD players. Also, what is the best way to utilize the Skipper Club? Is it better to get there early? I have been on the Pride a few times and I always arrive around 2:30 so I can avoid the major lines. This is my first time in a suite. Would it help to do the early check in at the Queen Mary? Thanks for any answers to these questions! :)
kajsb Posted December 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2004 You will love your cabin! We had a wrap around when we sailed the Pride in May 2004. At that time, the cabins still had VCR's not DVD players. I don't know if anything has changed. We used the early check-in at the QM but I'm one who is always one of the first to arrive. I can't stand being late. If you do the early check-in, you should arrive no later than 11:00am. With Skipper's Club you probably would be okay with arriving by noon. They usually start to board around 12:30 pm.
