whitelilly Posted June 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2009 I have cruised twice..once on RCCL freedom of the Seas (Eastern Caribbean) and Celebrity Solstice (Eastern Caribbean). We are torn between NCL Spirit Boston to Bermuda (we live in Boston area) and RCCL Freedom of the Seas Western Carribean. we are planning for the last weekend in Aug. so Bermuda weather would be perfect. We are really just worried about the ship. Both our other cruises were on brand new beautiful ships. Could anyone advise us?
njhorseman Posted June 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2009 I suggest you post this question on the NCL board, and you should read the numerous recent threads on the Spirit posted there...including recent reviews, etc. PS..I'd be willing to cruise to Bermuda on a garbage scow, as long as I got two or three days in Bermuda along with it. paulekrause Posted June 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2009 The Spirit is a terrific ship and Bermuda a wonderful choice. Regardless of the ship, Bermuda is the best choice!

We did the Western Caribbean in January on HAL and have had many prior trips to Bermuda on NCL, Celebrity, and Princess. IMHO, Bermuda wins hands down. I doubt you will be disappointed.
