i had to take along a small cooler for some meds and i used heavy ziplocs for the meds and for the ice. when the ice melted,just poured it out. worked great.

Any suggestions on what to do and where to go while there? My husband and I are cruising on the Carnival Glory in July. We've been other routes on Carnival but not usually to Mexico.

Niki, did you mean to post on this board about baggies? In Cozumel check out Nachi on the Cozumel board and back to the baggie part of the post, put a little ice in a baggie with a wash cloth for your trip to the beach and you have a very refreshing cloth for your face when you get hot or your eyes burn from too much sand or ocean water.

Do you NEED them? No. People have packed for years without them. That being said, once you start using them, you'll never look back. You will find more and more uses for them every time. I keep, at all times, a good dozen fresh bags in my suitcase. They take up no room and you never know when one will come in handy. Lots of good suggestions and they are just the tip of the iceberg.
