Cruising Elation July 24, with family members. 1st time on Carnival. Are there refrigerators in room? Also, what free drinks are included, lemonade, tea, coffee etc? We know Elation is an older ship, we are not expecting all the bells and whistles, if there is no frig can we bring small ice chest and will cabin steward provide ice? Thank you, looking forward to a fun family cruise!

Fantasy class doesnt have refrigerators in cabins, unless you have a suite. Coolers cannot be bigger than 12 x 12 x 12. If you want a bigger one you can get a collaspible cooler and fold it into your luggage. Id give the cabin steward a tip if I expected to keep a cooler full of ice, but yes he will Im told.

I have never been on Elation but I do know the rooms with fridges are usually the balcony cabins or suites. The steward will provide ice on a daily basis. Your cooler should be no larger than 12x12x12. People usually bring a collapsable cooler for that. Free drinks include, lemonade, coffee, tea(hot or cold) juice and milk in the morning. I find the coffee and tea is better in the dining room. You can also bring a reasonable amount of soda and bottled water on board.

First of all congrats! You are going to have a GREAT time on Elation!

No fridge, but the cabin steward will keep you stocked up with ice, no problem.

Also, if you want you can get cappuchino for free in the main dining room.

Coffee on Lido deck is usually pretty bad... I use room service for my AM coffee fix and it's really good, much better than Lido coffee, IMO.

Hopefully you will enjoy yourself while on board! Remember, it's "The Fun Ships" and that is what you will have...FUN! :D:)

P.S. Are you sailing to Cabo? Just curious. I will be on the Elation in September to Cabo.
