Most of your concerns were answered long ago....and the conclusion is that you had best be ready to hurry through the airport, as you are at the short end of the connection window. Read post 1-5 for your answers.

My travel agent sent me a notification stating the change in flight number as well as change in time.

Was booked on AC890 departing at 8.30pm. And now its AC892 departing at 6.00pm.

AC890 was non stop and AC892 has a stop in Montreal for 90 mins. but is the same plane.

I was booked on the same Air Canada flight to Rome. Now, I see that it doesn't exist. Only flights through Franfurt.

 

Has anyone else noticed this. What should a person do about the change? I received no notification!:(

 

 

We noticed it too and I called Air Canada. They said that they can book me through frankfurt or refund my ticket in full.

I talked to my travel agent and was pretty upset that these things go on.

I cancelled my tickets totally and rebooked via London with a day in london. Cost me $154.00 more per ticket.

It will also cost you for that day in London. Flights are changed all the time; this is nothing unusual.

The timing wasnt working out...cutting it too close to ships departure.

The day in London wont cost me anything as I have family there.
