Any chart that tells cruising miles

Nautical types would have accurate charts for sailing, but a good approximation can be determined by measuring the great circle distance between the various airports. See Great Circle Mapper.

From JFK airport in NY to the Hamilton, Bermuda airport is 662 nautical miles; while Galveston airport to Cozumel airport is 678 nm. Cruise port to cruise port would be off of those numbers by a few nm's, and ships don't necessary sail the great circle distance for a variety of reasons. Experienced sailors could give a tighter answer, but the distances are very close.

If you have Google Earth and can find the cruise ports in each location, they have a measurement tool where you just draw a line between 2 points. I also use the Great Circle Mapper mentioned above quite a bit.

Look for the ruler on the top bar that has the little images, or click on the Tools drop down and click on ruler. Put a dot on one location and then go to the next location. The line will follow your cursor. When the ruler box pops up, you can select what unit you would like the distance to be measured in (inches, yards, feet, miles etc). If you are going to measure things very far apart, you might want to put a placemark on each so that when you pull the image out far enough to fit the 2 locations on the screen, you can still find them.

As for finding the ports, sometimes you luck out and there is actually a ship in port when the image was taken. Sometimes, you just look at the place you are cruising too and you can see a pier. Or you can google the port name and quite often get the pier address or location that way. Also, down the left side of Google Earth is a box called "layers". If you look down the list, you'll see one called Panoramio. Check the box beside that, and when you zoom down on the earth, little boxes will show up with labels on them. Click on those and get pictures of that area. You'll see tons with cruise ships and piers, which in some cases can help you pinpoint the location of the pier.
