New Train...Seattle-Vancouver In August

They anounced today an additional train from Seattle to Vancouver, (and of course the return trip), starting this August.

The Mayors of Vancouver, Seattle and Portland got together earlier this summer and lobbied anyone who would listen to increase passenger train service between the three cities. Looks as if they were successful. (Of course it helped when the government 'block-heads' decided to get their heads out of their butts and drop a $1500 per train fee they said they would apply for the train to clear the border!!!)

This will make it much cheaper for many of our American friends to book Alaska out of Vancouver because they can now fly into Seattle with a choice of which train to take north.
