Matt Ross is CD on the Fascination.

Is Shawn Bussey female? If I remember, short hair? If that's her, She was the director on Paradise and they celebrated her retirement on that ship as her last sail, she was getting married. That was in January 04. She must have changed her mind? Or I may be completely wrong and am thinking of someone else!

How long do CDs usually stay with the ships?

According to Josh Riffe when I sailed with him on the Carnival Pride...

It depends on the CD...John Heald stayed on Triumph for years....some CDs just fill in for a couple of months, maybe less, some stay on one ship for a whole contract...it just depends on the CD and what they want to do. Carnival is pretty good with letting CDs choose which ship and for how long.

We were on the Destiny 1-23-05 and the CD was Marahscalh Stanton . He was very funny.

Is Jeff Bronsooon still around? we had him this past Sept on the Paradise. Did not care for him but he was not as bad as I expected from reading this board.

According to someone who got off the Valor today (2/13), The Cruise Director is Carlo Lombard. I guess Josh Riffe was just bringing the ship out and moving on.....of course it has been almost 3 months.....that's not an unusually short stay.

jeff brought the valor out he was aboard for 8 weeks,mid dec to mid feb while carlo was on vacation, word is that carlo will be on valor for at least the next 4 months maybe longer....we will see

Need to resolve. A previous posting about 3 or 4 notes above this one states that the cruise director on the Valor is Carlo Lombard. The listing indicates Joshua Riffe as stated by another post. Can any one clarify? I am scheduled for a cruise on the Valor in May so it is of interest to me.

CD's switch ships all the time, thats why its hard to get an exact list. Josh was on Valor. He might be on vacation or Carlo might be taking over for him for his next contract. It just hard to say. Thats why carnival will never answer if you ask which CD will be on a certain ship at a certain time.

I have seen 4 different CD's on the same ship in a years time.

Anybody know who will replace John Heald after he leaves in April? Unfortunately, I won't have the pleasure of sailing with him again before he leaves, but I'd love to know who will be there in May.

We were on the Holiday in 2003 and the CD was an English fella (perhaps in his late 40s-early 50s) who always raised one knee when he told a joke. Does anyone remember his name? He cracked me up.

We sailed the Victory in July and the CD was Dana Hodson. Somewhere I read that he is no longer there. Not sure who is, but will find out next week!

ok josh is back on valor as the cd he took a week off and carlo filled in one week for him, carlo is still aboard as asst cd confirmed this today....
