How long after booking to get room assignments?

When we booked last week, we booked where Carnival assigns the room. I'm not really picky about the rooms, as long as I have a bed and a shower. (Just returned from a camping trip-so anything with electricity is GREAT!)

Just curious as to how long before we will get room assignment info?

I've had the room assignment show up online as early as about 60 days before sailing. Our last cruise we didn't get our room until 6 days out, though. There's always a slim possibility that you won't know until you get to the pier although it's never happened to me.

Usually anytime around final payment date or thereafter. Folks got theirs last week for the Sept 20th cruise of the Crazies who had guarantees.

We got our room assignment for our April Fascination cruise 120 days out! The cruise before that was about 60 days out.

We are 106 days away and some of us have cabin assignments already.

We are 64 days out, and paid in full at time of booking last week. I remember seeing the final payment deadline as July 9th if we had chose to make it in 2 payments.

I guess I'm just excited and enjoy knowing more about my reservation, etc...
