Two cruise ports in Cozumel?

Hello all-

I've booked Nachi Cocum in Cozumel for my upcoming cruise in August and now I'm concerned because apparently there are two different cruise ports that the ships can pull in to? My question is, are they both sort of close to Nachi? In March when I went, the port was about 15 mins from Nachi. How can I tell which port Carnival will be pulling in to?

Help!

There are actually three different pier locations. Punta Langosta is located right downtown and after leaving the ship and walking towards the city down the dock, you will go over an overpass into a shopping mall. You are right in the heart of downtown Cozumel. The International Pier is about a 10-minute taxi ride south of town (you can walk to town in about 30 minutes right along the coast line, but if it is hot, take a taxi.) The third pier (Puerto Maya) is just beyond the International Pier and has the same dynamics and is closest to Nachi. Finally, when there are too many ships in port, some ships will anchor outside and tender into the Punta Langosta pier.

The Freedom docks at Puerta Maya. Carnival owns it. It has been redone. It is a $15 taxi ride to Nachi. I will be going there in two weeks!

Do all Carnival ships then use this dock ? Thanks in advance ! ;)

No. It depends on how many ships are in port on that day. On the website for Puerta Maya it gives a list of who is docking and when. You can also check the website for cozumel insider and it will give the list for all the ships docking for that week and where they will be docking. It post for Monday - Sunday and is updated on the Monday of that week.
