New cruises?

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year Anniversary next May. We were looking into going on a cruise.

We want to be gone during our anniversary, and not before or after. (i.e. cruise from April 22-28 when our anniversary is on May 6th etc.)

We also don't want to:

- go back the same places we have already been

- fly (which means to have to drive)

- cuise on anythng other than Carnival

- leave on my birthday (April 29th)

- go on a ship we have already been on

- stay overnight in a port

- have short port visits

 

and a few other things.....BUT

 

after all of that, it only leaves two, maybe three cruises to choose from.

 

Does Carnival add cruises once the "schedule" is out? I was hoping to have some more choices.

 

As of right now, our number one choice is April 29- May 7, but it leaves on my birthday and I don't want to fee like its a birthday cruise. :(

There have been a few instances of changing ships, like they announced, they were moving the Fantasy out and the Triumph into New Orleans, but the lead time was considerably over a year.

 

I can't think of one single time they have ever added to the schedule for such a close in date, for next late spring. The cruises that are out are pretty much a set schedule thru mid April 2011. They cant be moving a ship around when people are already booking it and the next ship coming in will be Magic in late 2011.

I agree with firefly.

 

If your not happy with carnival's schedule why not check with the other cruise lines?
