What carib hotels offer use of beach for day?

Recommended Posts

We'll be cruising southern carib (barbados, st. lucia, antigua, st. martin, st. croix). I read that you can spend the day at a resort at port for a set fee- I read an example of $40 a day which included lunch, drinks, and use of the beach and amenities. Does anyone have any experience with this, or could could me a list of hotels that offer this service in the islands listed? Thanks!

Most islands have public beaches, so you really don't need to PAY a hotel to use a beach! All of the public areas have chair/umbrella rentals, and food/drink/restrooms, etc...are avail.

It's a lot cheaper to get a taxi or bus, and rent a chair than it is to book a hotel for the day!

Get a guidebook on the ports you'll visit, so you'll know what's available, where it is, and any costs!
