Beer delivered to stateroom?

Has anyone ever heard of someone getting cases of beer delivered to your stateroom? I saw something on another board, but could not find anything else. We have a couple of people in our party that only drink beer, and getting a case delivered to their stateroom would be great! I've never heard of it before I started looking on these boards. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

http://www.cruisenewsdaily.com/jby.html Heres the one I called to price. 1 case of Miller Lite was 55.00. 5 of that was delivery expense. 25 for a 1/2 case plus $5.00 if you ordered a whole case you save 5.00. We decided against it, we're packing our own.

Yep- you can get it delivered to your state room but expect to pay a lot of money for it- Probably a lot cheaper to buy your own buckets of beer on a cruise ship. Or take an extra suitcase and fill it with a case of beer and have it delivered using a porter at checkin

Thank you for all the help. After seeing those prices, I think we will just buy it on the ship! I love these boards! I wish I knew about them four years ago, all the tips I've gotten so far are great!!! Thanks again!

Actually it is still cheaper than ships price. 325 was it for a bottle of 12 oz? $55.00 divided by 24 comes out to 2.29 a bottle. So you save alittle. I guess $1.00 a bottle. Right?

Thanks. I'll give the link to my in-laws, they are the ones that drink beer, and maybe they would rather have it delivered than try to carry it on.
