Rare geoherb Posted May 11, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2004 We really enjoyed our excursion with Captain Nautica. (I voted for the second option, since it's not the best excursion ever--but I would do it again.) The other excursion that we liked a lot in St. Thomas was kayaking the mangrove lagoon. lnm Posted May 11, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted May 11, 2004 thank you! geoherb...was the snorkling from shore or jump out of the boat? Easy to get back in the boat? Also, do they have drinks (beer) on the way back or just soft drinks?
lnm Posted May 12, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted May 12, 2004 Only 5 people have gone on this excursion?
lnm Posted May 13, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted May 13, 2004 OK....well I did book this cruise...mostly because kids wanted speed boat rather than sail boat. I'll post afterwards.
izzyvet Posted May 14, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 14, 2004 I went, it was great. I voted for the second. We would recommend it to anyone. Only 5 people on our group. The speedboating part was fun. Our first snorkeling spot, we were the only 5 people there. Then on to Honeymoon beach. They did have fruit and drinks, I don't remember if they were alcoholic or not. Was a wonderful excursion. Couldn't believe how lucky we were to be part of such a small group. Here's a couple of pictures: The boat is on the left: and here is another shot at the first snorkeling spot: Izzy NCL Starward 4/92 NCL Wind 12/00 Adventure 4/02 Grandeur 12/02 [B]<MARQUEE>Until Explorer in May!!!! lnm Posted May 14, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted May 14, 2004 thanks! If nothing else we'll get there faster than the sailboats right?
Kay D Posted May 15, 2004 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2004 We have been snorkeling with Captn Nautica 3 times through Princess cruises and would do it again next time in St. Thomas!! We ordinarily do NOT book excursions through ship but this one is a MUST-DO!! A little more expensive than other snorkel trips at St. T but it's DEFINITELY worth the extra $$.
