Have You Stayed Above the Casino (esp Destiny/Triumph/Victory guests)?

We are sailing on the Destiny in November (first time cruisers) and have cabins directly above the casino. We are curious to know if there are any noise and/or smoke issues from the casino below?

Of special interest is those who have cruised above the casino on the Destiny or one of her two sister ships (in that area of the ship), Triumph & Victory. However, any Carnival ship's info will be appreciated!

I've stayed in cabins above the casino on a few occasions. Most recently in cabin 6250 on Destiny. Never heard a sound.

Is 6250 actually above the casino proper? If I use the elevators as a judge on the deck plans (assuming, of course, that they are all the same scale...lol), your cabin appears to be right over the cashier's cage (and thus away from the slots/smoke). Using that same line of thinking, ours are smack dab above the port side of the casino's slots (6210 & 6226). Just wondering if that makes much difference.

We stayed in room 6375 on the Triumph above the casino. No problems with smoke or noise from the casino itself, but there was live music in the promenade in front of the casino and we heard it loud and clear in our room. There was mid afternoon karaoke which wasn't the greatest lullaby if you are trying to take an afternoon nap! The band or singer was also loud and clear until well after 1AM.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO polar_purple: I have been above the casino on a few cruises. You won't know you are above the casino. Of course, I usually close out the casino. You will not notice any noise. Even if I'm the shooter and rolling numbers.
