biking in belize

has anyone tried the biking in belize tour. I did the one in Jamaica and it was wonderful was wondering about this tour?

Hi,

 

I did a biking tour in Belize when I cruised on the Carnival Paradise in March 03.

It was great! We biked through the forest and the bike ride ended at Altun Ha ruins. The biking was through rough terrain, we had to stop twice and lift our bikes over fallen trees and you had to watch the trail carefully because of rocks and tree roots. The guide stopped several times to tell us about different vegatation.

There was lost of time to visit the ruins and take picture and then we were back on the bus to go to our lunch stop.

It was a traditional Belizian meal of chicken and rice and beans...it was very good.

I would highly recommend this tour.

Actually, I plan on doing another biking tour on my cruise on the NCL Sea in Feb.

NLC doesn't offer the same one I did with Carnival so I'm doing the Sibun bike and Hike tour. I hope it's as good.
