Using NY public transportation

Please give me specific directions on getting from LGA to Ground Zero and then to the pier in Brooklyn for a Princess cruise using public trasnportation if possible. Thanks.

Please post this on the East Coast Departures board to get the detailed information from the local folks. Will you be able to manage your cruise luggage on public transportation? This will be a complicated trip by bus and subway. Neither LGA or the Brooklyn cruise terminal have good subway connections and I know there will be a bit of walking at the Brooklyn end. Also, Ground Zero is a vast area.

138 East is correct. I live in NYC, and getting around on public transportation with luggage is not that easy. And there is no subway stop near the Brooklyn cruise terminal. A taxi or car service is the way to go.

To the Piers you will need either a cab or car service because there is no subway stops nearby. Also do you plan to have your luggage with you during this entire trip because that will be a difficult trip unless you just hire a car service to pick you up from LGA, drive you down to Ground Zero, and then drop you off at the Pier.
