Amsterdam Hotel Recommendation?

Hotel Jan Luyken is a very nice, what we call "boutique" hotel.

It is an kind of older, very well maintained hotel. It has got a special atmosphere, which I mean in the positive way.

Also the location is nice, close to Rijksmuseum (Nightwatch), and Van Goghmuseum. There is a good tramconnection into city-center and also close to PC Hooftstraat, which is an upscale shoppingcenter.
