Wanting to go somewhere with local flavor. I've read that Ajili Mojili is good, but it seems kinda far.

 

Any ideas?

The courtyrad restaurant in the El Convento Hotel... One of San Juan's nicest hotels and just a few blocks form the Sheraton and pier.

We love Aguaviva it's at 363 Calle Fortaleza OSJ. The food is great and the drinks are better. Nice and relaxing not far from the ship walking distance if you are not docked at Pan American Pier.

We ate at Carli's: http://www.carlicafeconcierto.com/restaurant/ . Great food, really great music! Easy walk from Sheraton.

carli's looks good, but it is on the pricey side - is this the norm for OSJ restaurants? Or are there more budget friendly options?
