Back to Back from Long Beach

Considering to a back to back next year out of Long Beach starting with a 7 nighter on the Splendor then a 4 nighter on the Paradise. Has anyone done this, if so how did it work out. I know these 2 ships are very different and not sure if it would be a let down going on the smaller Paradise after the larger newer Splendor. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You might be dis-appointed (ship comparison)....have you considered doing it the other way around?

We did it the other way around this past April with the idea of spending the weekend in Long Beach/LA.......we loved both Ships.....we liked the smaller size of the Paradise and would not have been disappointed doing the Cruises in a different order other than the fact we would not have been able to go to Ensenada (Swine Flu)...for us Ensenada was the only one of 4 scheduled Mexican Ports we were able to get to during both Cruises

We had Category 12 Suite on the Paradise and then a Balcony on the Splendor
